Investment Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop a fundamental understanding of the inflation market and its main products including cash and derivative instruments
• Use qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify potential trading opportunities and assess the risk of existing strategies
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets used to drive investment decisions
• Support the team’s research process, including data collection, analysis, prototyping, back testing, and performance monitoring
• Communicate opportunities to the Investment and Leadership teams

Requirements

• 1-2 years’ experience in a relevant role at a top tier bank or hedge fund
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in finance, economics, or a similar quantitative discipline
• Exceptional quantitative and programming skills (Python and SQL)
• Knowledge and interest in financial markets
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, time sensitive team environment
• Ability and willingness to work unconventional hours
