Investigative Forensic Support Analyst

Responsibilities

• Acquire, preserve, analyze, and summarize large volumes of investigative data
• Work with investigative personnel as a technical expert to analyze source documents and statistical information
• Determine relevancy of information related to priority intelligence requirements
• Develop methodologies to exploit investigative information and conduct quality control
• Provide on-scene, phone, and collaborative support for forensic tools, processes, and systems
• Develop written and oral legal testimony for courts or administrative authorities
• Support technology transfer, prototyping, development, and piloting of technologies and code

Requirements

• Formal training in Digital Forensics
• Professional certifications such as IACIS CFCE, BCERT/ACERT, or SANS (GCFE, GCFA)
• Prior federal or state Law Enforcement experience as a Digital Investigator may be substituted for specific certifications
