About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise 4-5 Supervising Investigators and other Investigations Team staff
- Oversee Investigations Team workflows, case assignments, and reporting
- Identify and implement improvements to investigations and case-handling processes
- Ensure consistent case decision-making and adherence to documented procedures
- Manage systems for monitoring compliance with Consent Orders and payment processes
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for case management database enhancements
- Oversee recruitment, training, professional development, and annual evaluations of staff
- Coordinate with community organizations and labor law enforcement agencies
Requirements
- High school diploma and five years of experience in consumer or worker protection investigations, including one year of supervisory experience
- OR a baccalaureate degree and one year of experience in consumer or worker protection investigations in a supervisory capacity
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid New York State Motor Vehicle Driver License
