Inventory Technician

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and control inventory of equipment and manufacturing supplies
• Support the engineering team during design, development, and testing phases
• Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers
• Draft and finalize SOPs, safety procedures, and related documentation
• Maintain manufacturing environment via 5S principles
• Comply with ISO, state, and federal safety and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, subassemblies, and finished goods
• Partner with procurement for timely receipt and labeling of materials
• Communicate shortages, excesses, and risks to Supply Chain
• Reconcile part numbers and quantities with purchase orders

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a technician in a hands-on setting
• Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting electromechanical systems
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols
• Extensive experience driving a forklift and using hand power tools
• Strong communication skills for in-person and remote collaboration
• Understanding of part numbering systems, BOMs, and revision control
• Ability to create and maintain processes in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CAD software and technical drawings
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Coupa, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
