Inventory Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for end-users, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner
• Manage the full lifecycle of hardware, including imaging, deployment, recovery, and e-waste processes
• Maintain and reconcile IT equipment inventory using asset tracking systems
• Perform regular checks and troubleshooting for AV/VC systems (Zoom, Meet, Webex) and conference room technology
• Document all support requests, resolutions, and asset updates within ITSM tools like ServiceNow
• Ensure accurate labeling, tagging, and tracking of all deployed equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software
• Proficiency in inventory and asset management
• Ability to support AV/VC systems and conference room technology
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation certifications
• Experience with macOS, Windows 10/11, and basic Linux environments
• Familiarity with MDM tools such as JAMF
• Enrollment in IT-related coursework or vocational training
• Experience working independently at single-technician sites
