Inventory Specialist

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, parts, and hardware to support manufacturing and R&D operations
• Pick, organize, and stage components to keep production running efficiently
• Verify incoming materials for conformity, quantity, part numbers, and damage-free condition
• Maintain strict material handling and traceability practices
• Monitor shelf-life storage and perform stock rotations
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical and system inventories
• Record all inventory movements and transactions in the ERP system
• Perform cycle counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with safety standards

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with computer software, including spreadsheets and resource planning programs
• Understanding of inventory and kitting processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to stand for extended periods (4–6 hours/day) and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual per ITAR regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of inventory control or warehouse experience
• Experience operating forklifts and related inventory equipment
• Familiarity with Manufacturo or other ERP/MRP software
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environments
• Prior experience in aerospace, electronics, or related manufacturing fields
