Inventory Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate inventory counts of medical/surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and hospital assets
• Capture inventory data using the HITS program, Excel, or paper count sheets
• Assemble, disassemble, and adjust inventory storage racks, carts, and shelving
• Organize and stock inventory shelving according to supervisor and hospital staff directions
• Label bins and carts and stage supplies on carts with appropriate bin sizes
• Report inventory discrepancies to the Team Leader
• Collaborate with various teams and attend training meetings for field operations updates

Requirements

• High school education, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to meet hospital standards including background check, drug test, and vaccinations
• Ability to travel extensively across the US
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Possession of a mobile phone for company timekeeping apps
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks like standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Proficiency in using inventory computer programs and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in teams

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of inventory count or supply chain experience
• Knowledge of medical and/or pharmaceutical products
• State-issued driver's license and clean driving record
