Inventory Specialist

Responsibilities

• Maintain real-time and accurate inventory records and visibility through SOP execution
• Manage and direct warehouse associates for cycle counts, stock transfers, and material movements
• Support warehouse supervisors on coverage during their absence
• Assist in training warehouse personnel on inventory procedures, systems, and equipment
• Liaise with Finance, Ops, and Supply Chain teams to publish weekly inventory metrics
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and conduct root cause analysis for variances
• Conduct cycle counts and lead DC-specific initiatives to improve accuracy
• Coordinate with Planning for ABC inventory analysis and storage utilization
• Ensure compliance of warehouse and inventory processes in Distribution Centres
• Support warehouse projects, system implementations, and process improvements
• Collaborate with Site Leader and Supply Chain teams on consumables budget and fulfillment
• Work in compliance with OH&S acts and regulations

Requirements

• 3+ years of inventory, warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
• Ability to work weekend schedules and in cold facilities
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications or licenses with Lean Six Sigma
