About the role
Responsibilities
- Issue, adjust, and close production jobs to maintain accurate inventory records
- Coordinate cycle counts, freight planning, and site inventory management
- Assist with raw and finished goods inventory planning to ensure optimum stock levels
- Utilize ERP software (Deacom preferred) to order materials and set stocking levels
- Develop cost-saving strategies and risk mitigation plans in collaboration with stakeholders
- Monitor and report on material trends to inform procurement decisions
- Enforce strict facility inventory standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Manage facility gate access and coordinate operations via two-way radio
- Provide coverage for the Inventory Team as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in inventory management or a related field
- Proficiency with ERP systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow departmental processes, policies, and procedures consistently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Deacom ERP software
