Inventory Specialist

Responsibilities

• Physically move and expedite materials to support production and meet work order completion schedules
• Verify that all materials are properly packaged, bagged, and tagged for hand-off to the production floor
• Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually complete warehouse tasks and track the movement of parts
• Document system issues, process flaws, and inefficiencies, communicating with quality control and purchasing to resolve problems
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and hand carts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in supply chain, operations, warehousing, inventory control, or a related field
• 1+ year of experience using MS Excel, including the ability to navigate and interpret data
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, warehousing, or inventory control
• 2+ years of experience using MS Excel to navigate and interpret complex data
