Inventory Planner - Rotables Forecasting

Responsibilities

• Perform planning and coordination for aircraft spares, cabin materials, tools, and IFE to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Review part forecasts for A & C Checks, re-order proposals, and engineering documents to initiate cost-effective procurement.
• Evaluate and monitor float levels for all rotable spare parts using Poisson’s calculations.
• Implement stocking methods including pool inclusion and consignment stock allocations.
• Monitor fleet defects and initiate steps to reduce them.
• Manage shelf-life expiry items and scrap transactions within the ERP system.
• Support aircraft induction, return to service, and end-of-lease projects.
• Assist in developing and updating departmental manuals in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor or equivalent technical degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of aviation inventory management experience.
• Proven track record in aircraft technical material planning, procurement, and supplier management.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of technical manuals such as IPC, ITEM, and MPD.
• Familiarity with RSPLs, W-Files, spare repair, and warranty processes.
• Knowledge of OEM support contracts (SSC and PSAA) and lease return requirements.
