About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform tactical planning to support Demand Flow production and Kanban management
  • Monitor inventory levels to meet objectives and reconcile part shortages
  • Review MRP and place orders with assigned vendors
  • Resolve quality issues and handle the disposition of non-conforming products
  • Coordinate with Operations, production groups, and textile teams to meet customer requirements
  • Support lean manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment following 5S principles and ISO standards

Requirements

  • Post Secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics (or an Associate degree with 4-7 years of related experience)
  • 2–5 years of experience in a similar inventory or planning position
  • Experience with manufacturing production processes and work orders
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of MRP and JUST-IN-TIME (JIT) concepts
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally in English, both verbally and in writing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Access
  • Proficiency with Enterprise business systems, specifically JDE
