Inventory Management Support - D (DoW SkillBridge)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and consolidate domestic and international shipments using government and international regulations
• Process government shipments via WAWF, EASE, ETA, and GBL, including export documents and EEI filings
• Create essential transportation documentation such as DD250, DD1348, bills of lading, and AWBs
• Collaborate with management, customers, DCMA, and freight forwarders to ensure timely deliveries
• Prepare detailed logistics reports, including cost summaries and carrier scorecards
• Utilize package tracking software and RFID scanners to manage production and non-production materials
• Handle, transfer, and transport chemicals or dangerous goods in compliance with CFR 49 and IATA regulations
• Operate material handling equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts upon receiving internal certification
• Manage inventory and optimize transportation operations using SAP WMS and TMS
• Execute physical and administrative tasks for the receipt and internal distribution of incoming supplies and equipment

Requirements

• Active US Military member with fewer than 180 days of service remaining prior to separation
• At least 180 continuous days of active service
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate Degree with 2 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in receiving, distribution, or delivering goods
• Familiarity with RYDER, OMS, ASN, P2P, and Allyn systems
• Proficiency with SAP WMS/TMS and MRP/Agile/PDM software tools
• Ability to obtain a DOD security clearance
• Current or previous Dangerous Goods by Air certification
• Working knowledge of forklift and pallet jack safety
