About the role

Responsibilities

  • Control product warehouse stock in SAP and PCD to ensure real-time data accuracy for over 300 types of pipe and accessory items
  • Coordinate and execute monthly cycle counts and stock reconciliations to ensure accurate movement postings
  • Replicate product warehouse transactions from yard crews into SAP/PCD with meticulous accuracy
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies by backtracking movements in SAP and working with internal departments
  • Monitor First In, First Out (FIFO) protocols and product aging
  • Ensure stock preservation and coordinate materials downgrades or scrapping as required
  • Assist in shipment activities by verifying that product loaded onto trucks matches dispatch information
  • Maintain high health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and report any incidents or observations

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of inventory control experience
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong general computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for coordinating with yard crews and drivers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems
  • Background in Warehouse Management, Accounting, or Supply Chain
  • Experience with OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) inventory
  • Data analysis experience
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
