Inventory Control Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate worker activities to meet company inventory control goals
• Process and analyze cycle counts, ABC analysis, inventory adjustments, and replenishments
• Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with established procedures and record accuracy
• Research and reconcile inventory variances to determine root causes and recommend remedial actions
• Coordinate fiscal year-end inventory and biannual off-site physical audits
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.s) for inventory control functions
• Determine work schedules, assign duties, and expedite workflow to meet deadlines
• Report inventory accuracy to management and ensure timely response to shortages
• Maintain safety programs to ensure effective equipment utilization and adherence to safety measures

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on inventory control supervisor experience
• Proven experience researching and reconciling inventory variances
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and train a dynamic warehouse team
• Ability to work core business hours (4:00 am - 12:30 pm) and flexibility for overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Oracle inventory management module
• Experience with WMS and Inventory Control Applications
• Working knowledge of Radio Frequency (R.F.) technology and gun navigation
• A.P.I.C.S. certification
