About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead department operations to meet specific company service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Perform real-time audits of on-hand inventory as part of the SOX program
  • Support the team in performing investigations to resolve inventory inaccuracies within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Manage operational budgets, including labor and supply costs on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Act as a coach to develop team talent through active feedback, vision, and goal setting
  • Drive the DC Safety Program to maintain a healthy and safe work environment
  • Manage employee performance metrics including UPH, attendance, and annual reviews
  • Work cross-functionally with Store Support Center and Retail Operations partners

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Associates degree in engineering, supply chain, logistics, operations, or relevant on-the-job experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a high-level understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Ability to understand and implement lean methodology and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to obtain a powered industrial truck (PIT) operator certification
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that may include nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Authorization to work in Canada
