Inventory Control Specialist

Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling — keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2017, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.

Responsibilities

• Lead cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and related programs to ensure inventory accuracy
• Coordinate task distribution in partnership with Material Flow, Operations, and IC leadership
• Train, guide, and support material handlers across receiving, inventory control, and data-gathering activities
• Monitor WMS data and transactions and generate reports to support decision-making
• Establish, model, and maintain quality control standards and inventory process compliance
• Investigate inventory variances and conduct root cause analysis
• Compile, verify, and report inventory metrics and trends
• Oversee raw material documentation flow and general inventory record integrity
• Perform physical material-handling tasks and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Promote and enforce a strong culture of safety

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience operating a forklift or other pit equipment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to use a PAPR respiratory device on occasion

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree
• Experience with Oracle WMS
• Experience with Tableau
