About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory record accuracy and integrity through efficient management procedures.
- Initiate and maintain a cycle count strategy, making system adjustments and analyzing results for corrective action.
- Establish and execute slotting programs and bin verification programs using available tools.
- Determine the disposition of damaged or expired products and manage the recoup process.
- Support product recall and vendor return processes through physical identification and segregation.
- Coordinate physical inventory warehouse preparation, cutoff activities, and reconciliation.
- Review and analyze weekly sync reports to identify and correct error causes.
- Process perpetual inventory adjustments to match physical inventory movement.
- Monitor replenishment and ensure products are cubed and stored correctly to optimize capacity.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management procedures and warehousing terminology.
- Proficiency in mathematics and analytical problem-solving.
- Experience with mainframe computers and related applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach lifts and order picker lifts.
- Proficiency with RF units and inventory reporting software.
