Inventory Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage and secure all inventory within the parts room
• Maintain daily logs of inventory items used and received via JDE
• Perform daily physical inventories and monthly cycle counts
• Set up and maintain parts and tools on shelves for efficient retrieval
• Monitor the accuracy of inbound inventory and outbound shipments
• Generate reports to maintain adequate stock levels and restock parts as needed
• Coordinate with administration for the JDE purchase order process
• Operate heavy equipment including forklifts and overhead cranes
• Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Maintain a clean and organized inventory room and equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proven experience in warehouse or inventory control
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office
• Mechanical abilities and basic math skills
• Forklift certification
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to pass pre- and post-employment drug and alcohol tests

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JDE software
• One or more years of experience in oilfield work or a related field
