About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of data within SAP
- Perform daily counts to monitor and maintain inventory levels
- Control the inflow and outflow of inventory
- Record purchases and reconcile actual stock counts to computer-generated reports
- Develop inventory process enhancements and investigate daily issues
- Lead the annual inventory process in collaboration with accounting
- Monitor First Expired, First Out (FEFO) management for perishable goods
- Analyze inventory statistics and weeks on hand for individual SKUs
- Process and document returns following established procedures
- Track inventory maintenance and present recommendations to management
- Support management in training personnel and monitoring quality controls
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a similar field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in an inventory control position
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, charts, formulas, VLOOKUP, and data analysis functions
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SAP
- Familiarity with EDI programs
