Inventory Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts as outlined in the cycle count program
• Validate inventory adjustments and monitor warehouse movements for accuracy
• Analyze data from production areas and warehouse processes to identify discrepancies
• Assist in root cause analysis to reduce inventory accuracy issues
• Work with production teams to ensure transactions are completed accurately and timely
• Monitor inventory to prevent erroneous transactions, scrap, obsolescence, or loss
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area following 5S and Lean standards
• Follow all required safety and work procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to drive a forklift (must pass certification)
• Solid math skills and strong analytical ability
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, various operating systems, and email communication
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and other departments
• Ability to stand for up to twelve hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of inventory or production control experience
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
