About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform cycle counts as outlined in the cycle count program
- Validate inventory adjustments and monitor warehouse movements for accuracy
- Analyze data from production areas and warehouse processes to identify discrepancies
- Assist in root cause analysis to reduce inventory accuracy issues
- Work with production teams to ensure transactions are completed accurately and timely
- Monitor inventory to prevent erroneous transactions, scrap, obsolescence, or loss
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area following 5S and Lean standards
- Follow all required safety and work procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to drive a forklift (must pass certification)
- Solid math skills and strong analytical ability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, various operating systems, and email communication
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and other departments
- Ability to stand for up to twelve hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of inventory or production control experience
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
