Inventory Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory accuracy by reconciling liquid inventory, ingredients, material components, and finished goods within the SAP system.
• Perform daily process order reconciliations, cycle counts, and inventory status adjustments.
• Resolve drivers of inventory variances and lead investigations to explain discrepancies.
• Maintain synchronization between physical inventory and the Diageo SAP system for all product conditions, including receipts and shipments.
• Identify and drive continuous process improvement opportunities within inventory management.
• Partner with material planning, processing, bottling, and warehouse managers to ensure seamless communication.
• Support month-end accounting cut-offs and maintain current process documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-year college degree or certificate from a technical, trade, or vocational school.
• Mandatory proficiency in SAP systems.
• Previous experience in supply chain management with an understanding of end-to-end processes.
• Strong Excel skills and general PC proficiency.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
