About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory accuracy through systematic cycle counting and ABC classification
- Reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and ERP system records and investigate root causes
- Ensure proper material location and labeling to support 5S and visual management principles
- Assist with physical inventory audits and participate in Kaizen events
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and in compliance with standards
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure seamless integration of inventory control processes
- Generate and maintain inventory reports, metrics, and documentation
- Support Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve material flow
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing inventory processes, including cycle counting and stock control
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience with inventory reconciliation and root cause analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of Lean principles, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS or SAP
- Familiarity with IATF / ISO16949 standards
- Experience with cycle counting programs and physical inventory audits
