Inventory Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory transactions and documentation for multiple projects
• Use WMS/ERP systems to match physical movement of goods and perform root cause analysis on discrepancies
• Conduct monthly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize variances
• Verify Bill of Materials for production projects to ensure part availability
• Support production floor by kitting jobs, issuing parts, and unboxing materials
• Assist with annual inventory planning and disposal of surplus or scrap materials
• Provide warehouse assistance including receiving and unloading trucks

Requirements

• 3-5 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting, pushing, and pulling materials
• Ability to participate in drug and alcohol programs for safety-sensitive positions

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience
• Experience with an MRP system
