Inventory Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to email, company cell phone, and radio communications
• Conduct regular inventory audits of yard materials using FIFO standards
• Verify incoming fiber supplies against purchase orders and quality specifications
• Identify, account for, and report damaged products and update inventory systems
• Organize and maintain inventory based on forecasting and operational needs
• Communicate with vendors and customers regarding inventory status and quality issues
• Maintain clean and organized fiber storage areas

Requirements

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• 2+ years of sit-down forklift experience
• Intermediate computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to work overtime during busy seasons
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proven conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
• Ability to identify material quality and perform basic math

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of Inventory Control experience
