Inventory Control Representative

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory control functions including cycle counts, sweeps, and inventory adjustments
• Reconcile inventory reports regarding variances, expired products, and negative on-hand counts
• Manage product and location setups, moves, recalls, and Return to Vendor (RTV) processes
• Investigate inventory issues and provide detailed explanations for all adjustments
• Identify products accurately and maintain the product item master
• Collaborate with customer service, vendors, and the corporate purchasing department
• Support various warehouse functions and participate in special projects

Requirements

• Strong math, reading, and writing skills
• Proficiency with computers and RF devices
• Ability to differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under stress and handle multiple assignments
• Physical ability to walk on concrete floors continuously and lift/move products up to 50 lbs
• Ability to pass machine driver safety training for required equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of general warehousing operations experience
• Prior knowledge of inventory control processes
• High school diploma or equivalent
