Inventory Control Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy by resolving discrepancies and processing necessary adjustments
• Review customer orders and branch replenishment tickets to ensure accurate processing
• Assign work to order pickers based on urgency and shipping methods
• Create bin locations and barcode labels for new and overflow items
• Resolve shipping errors reported by branches and customers, documenting root causes
• Manage surplus redeployment reports to prevent product obsolescence
• File freight claims for damaged items and follow up on credits
• Perform end-of-day balancing and daily cash reconciliation
• Safely operate forklifts and other machinery to load, unload, and transport product
• Provide leadership and direction to Distribution Center staff in the absence of the Manager

Requirements

• High School Degree or GED required
• Forklift experience
• Ability to follow strict safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse experience
