About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled cycle counts on raw materials and finished goods to ensure precision within the perpetual inventory system
- Resolve inventory discrepancies (COGI errors) and maintain accurate balances on process control sheets
- Review completed production orders to ensure accurate inventory movement before technical completion
- Investigate inventory inaccuracies and establish appropriate corrective action plans
- Manage interplant material transfers, including documentation and transaction processing
- Monitor the return of specialty materials back into raw material inventory after production consumption
- Track material disposition for items returned through return authorization and freight claim processes
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in inventory control, management, or a supply chain role within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically with pivot tables and V-Lookups
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain a license
- Strong mathematical, reading, and writing competency
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment
- Commitment to wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with lean principles and methodologies
- Experience with ISO Quality Management Systems
