About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy
- Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records
- Update inventory data in the ERP system
- Monitor material movement and ensure proper storage and labeling
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and purchasing teams
- Assist with root cause analysis for inventory errors
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, materials handling, or warehouse operations
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience
- Forklift certification
- Certifications in inventory control or supply chain
