Inventory Control Clerk

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily cycle counts and internal audits for various product classifications.
• Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and communicate issues to the Inventory Control Lead.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks, including forklifts and cherry pickers, and perform daily equipment inspections.
• Evaluate and process damaged products that do not meet company quality standards.
• Train associates and new hires on basic warehouse activities and procedures.
• Enter accurate inventory data into the Oracle Warehouse and Inventory Management system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist in resolving warehouse-related issues.
• Execute operational activities in accordance with formalized distribution management policies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year of related experience in a warehouse and distribution environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general PC desktop usage.
• Ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks.
• Strong math, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment.
• Flexibility to work core hours (4:00 am - 12:30 pm) and overtime as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management and Inventory Control Applications.
• Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) technology and RF gun navigation.
