Inventory Control Clerk

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update accurate inventory records and management procedures
• Perform weekly cycle counts and reconcile inventories to book records
• Coordinate annual physical inventory procedures and establish cut-off dates
• Implement recoup programs to manage damaged, defective, or returned products
• Supervise inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs through regular reporting
• Conduct product searches and adjust records to resolve discrepancies
• Develop and maintain security programs to protect inventory integrity
• Prepare and issue necessary documentation, invoices, and inventory reports

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar inventory control position
• Proficiency with MS Office computer applications
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and customer service skills
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods in a warehouse environment
• Ability to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
