Inventory Control Clerk

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory control functions including cycle counts, sweeps, and inventory adjustments
• Reconcile inventory reports regarding variances, expired products, and negative on-hand counts
• Set up new products and process damaged or expired merchandise
• Investigate inventory issues and provide detailed explanations for all adjustments
• Coordinate with customer service, vendors, and the corporate purchasing department
• Maintain product item masters and manage product/location setups and moves

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk extensively throughout a warehouse environment

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of general warehousing operations experience
• Previous knowledge of inventory control processes
