Inventory Control Clerk

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory control functions including cycle counts, sweeps, and inventory adjustments
• Reconcile inventory reports regarding variances, expired products, and negative on-hand counts
• Manage product/location setup, moves, recalls, and Return to Vendor (RTV) processes
• Investigate inventory issues and provide detailed explanations for all adjustments
• Identify products accurately and maintain the product item master
• Collaborate with customer service, vendors, and the corporate purchasing department
• Support various warehouse functions and participate in special projects

Requirements

• Proven ability to perform cycle counts, sweeps, and inventory reconciliations
• Strong math, reading, writing, and computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to differentiate products with similar characteristics
• Ability to pass machine driver safety training for required equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience in general warehousing operations
• Prior knowledge of inventory control processes
