Inventory Control Associate

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the efficient flow of materials between carriers, laboratory storage, and working stock
• Collect deliveries from the loading bay, inspect and log receipts, and distribute materials as required
• Record stock movements and issues within inventory control systems
• Maintain organized storage areas and rotate stock according to appropriate date order
• Liaise with internal customers, suppliers, Purchasing, and Finance to resolve stock-related issues
• Conduct daily and weekly reporting and provide inventory dispositions
• Monitor study stock to communicate material shortages to Project Managers
• Participate in stock cycle counts and support inventory activities in a regulated laboratory environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of related experience
• Proficiency with computers and strong data entry skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk frequently and work in environments with occasional cold temperatures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow department SOPs

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity or experience using a forklift
• Experience working in a regulated laboratory or clinical research environment
