Inventory Control Associate

Responsibilities

• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to conduct daily cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
• Investigate and correct errors found during counts and adjust inventory levels in the system
• Inspect, label, package, and process returned inventory into active, sellable stock
• Identify process roadblocks and recommend strategies to enhance inventory procedures
• Record and report errors, including internal process failures and external vendor compliance issues
• Maintain 5S standards, housekeeping, safety, and preventative guidelines within the work area
• Function as a support liaison to other departments to improve order processing

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Effective time management and analytical problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with basic math and effective written/verbal communication
• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds
• Ability to work at heights up to 65 feet
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move throughout a distribution facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with warehousing processes
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• SRT Certification
