About the role
Responsibilities
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to conduct daily cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Investigate and correct errors found during counts and adjust inventory levels in the system
- Inspect, label, package, and process returned inventory into active, sellable stock
- Identify process roadblocks and recommend strategies to enhance inventory procedures
- Record and report errors, including internal process failures and external vendor compliance issues
- Maintain 5S standards, housekeeping, safety, and preventative guidelines within the work area
- Function as a support liaison to other departments to improve order processing
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Effective time management and analytical problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with basic math and effective written/verbal communication
- Ability to lift up to 65 pounds
- Ability to work at heights up to 65 feet
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move throughout a distribution facility
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with warehousing processes
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- SRT Certification
