Inventory Associate

Responsibilities

• Count inventory for official records and maintain product logs
• Issue materials into the system from requisition forms
• Check actual inventory against computerized records and report discrepancies
• Receive, load, and organize deliveries using Fork Trucks, Pallet Jacks, or by hand
• Restock merchandise and organize stores area
• File delivery and inventory receipts
• Use inventory software to track orders, returns, and supplies
• Write inventory reports detailing overstock or missing items
• Pull defective products and pack items for return
• Facilitate intercompany transfers and review shipping/receiving documents
• Assist material handlers in locating items

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per day
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb
• Proficiency with computer inventory software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
• Ability to read and interpret inventory reports and packing slips
• Basic math and effective communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Forklift experience or training
