Inventory Allocation & Batching Associate

Responsibilities

• Create and release pick batches in Extensiv by workstream, carrier ship method, and customer
• Prioritize batches to support ship-on-time performance for Express and International orders
• Allocate inventory using FIFO and location-based rules to reduce discrepancies
• Monitor batch progress and rebalance workload to prevent bottlenecks
• Identify and report inventory shortages or system issues
• Assist with Bills of Lading (BOLs) and quality checks for LTL/FTL shipments
• Maintain accurate batch and shipment status updates in Extensiv

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or order fulfillment
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System (Extensiv or 3PL Central preferred)
• Understanding of warehouse workflows including picking, staging, and shipping
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Reliable attendance for second shift schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of FIFO and location-based inventory allocation
• Experience supporting LTL/FTL shipping processes and BOL creation
• Experience in wholesale or finished goods warehouse operations
