Invasive Cardiac Physiologist

Responsibilities

• Perform and support invasive cardiac procedures including angiography, angioplasty, and device implantation
• Conduct physiological monitoring and data interpretation
• Ensure safe and effective operation of specialised equipment
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centred care
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to clinical governance and safety protocols

Requirements

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
• RCCP or AHCS registration
• Extensive experience in invasive cardiology procedures
• Proficiency in cardiac catheterisation lab techniques
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
• Ability to work under pressure in acute clinical environments
