Invasive Cardiac Physiologist

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures including coronary angiography, PCI, and device implantation
• Perform physiological monitoring, haemodynamic assessment, and intra-procedural support
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure safe patient care
• Participate in quality assurance, audit activities, and clinical governance
• Train and supervise junior staff and contribute to service development

Requirements

• BSc Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent
• RCCP or AHCS registration (or working towards)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in invasive cardiology
• Independent practice experience in a cardiac catheter lab
• Competence in haemodynamic monitoring and electrophysiology
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
