About the role
Responsibilities
- Carry out complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including cardiac device implantation and electrophysiology studies
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota for urgent cardiac interventions
- Ensure compliance with departmental and professional standards
- Train and develop junior staff
- Maintain precise patient records and support clinical practice enhancement
Requirements
- BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent degree
- Registration with HCPC, RCCP, or AHCS
- Proven experience in complex cardiac procedures
- Strong understanding of clinical guidelines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in training junior staff
