Invasive Cardiac Physiologist

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of invasive cardiac procedures such as angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies
• Work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans
• Maintain patient records
• Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and functioning
• Adhere to safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in invasive cardiac procedures
• Proficiency in performing angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
