Intraday Shift Trader

Responsibilities

• Execute transactions in the short-term energy market (Day-Ahead, Intraday, and Balancing Market) within risk and regulatory limits
• Develop analytical tools to facilitate departmental operations
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize profit
• Monitor weather conditions, load, market prices, and cross-border transactions to identify portfolio risks
• Take necessary measures to mitigate identified risks
• Maintain communication with the meteorology and analysis teams
• Work in shifts including mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or Economics
• Strong knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and time series analysis
• 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
• Practical programming experience with Python or Matlab
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent command of the English language
