Interventional Radiologist

Responsibilities

• Perform a diverse range of interventional radiology procedures including angiography, embolization, biopsies, and drainages
• Interpret diagnostic imaging to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment planning
• Collaborate closely with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding procedures, potential risks, and expected outcomes
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all procedures and patient interactions
• Stay updated with the latest developments in interventional radiology and participate in continuing medical education

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Radiology
• Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
• Valid medical license to practice in Oman
• 3 to 5 years of experience in interventional radiology
• Proficiency in a wide range of interventional procedures and imaging modalities
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
