Interventional Radiologic Technologist

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for pediatric patients of all ages using various diagnostic equipment.
• Perform tasks with minimal supervision while adhering to strict quality parameters set by the Medical Imaging Department.
• Educate patients and their parents regarding the procedures being performed.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth continuum of care for individual patients.
• Maintain accuracy in patient registration and departmental goals concerning patient satisfaction.
• Advocate for each patient's unique healthcare needs and provide respectful, compassionate care.
• Maintain all required educational and certification standards, including CPR and EKG requirements.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences.
• Valid Ohio Radiologic License from the Ohio Department of Health.
• ARRT registration in Radiography.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in Interventional Radiology (IR).
