About the role
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for pediatric patients of all ages using various diagnostic equipment.
- Perform tasks with minimal supervision while adhering to strict quality parameters set by the Medical Imaging Department.
- Educate patients and their parents regarding the procedures being performed.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth continuum of care for individual patients.
- Maintain accuracy in patient registration and departmental goals concerning patient satisfaction.
- Advocate for each patient's unique healthcare needs and provide respectful, compassionate care.
- Maintain all required educational and certification standards, including CPR and EKG requirements.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences.
- Valid Ohio Radiologic License from the Ohio Department of Health.
- ARRT registration in Radiography.
- Current CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in Interventional Radiology (IR).
