About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, patient-centred diagnostic imaging across a busy hospital service
  • Use RIS/PACS/EPR accurately; keep clear records and protect data confidentiality
  • Contribute to image quality, protocol optimisation and routine QA
  • Mentor and support juniors/students; help coordinate daily workflow
  • Work closely with the MDT to meet service demand and turnaround times

Requirements

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Diagnostic Radiography
  • HCPC registration as a Radiographer
  • Strong recent experience operating at senior level in a hospital imaging team
  • Comfortable supervising colleagues and maintaining high professional standards
  • Confident user of hospital IT systems (RIS/PACS/EPR)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Interventional Radiology (IR)
  • Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
  • Experience in Computed Tomography (CT)
