About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive interventional pain management care for patients suffering from chronic spine, joint, and nerve pain
  • Develop personalized treatment plans including medications, injections, nerve blocks, and minimally invasive spine procedures
  • Perform procedures primarily in a nearby outpatient surgery center
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Counsel patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications
  • Participate in community outreach, education, and practice development initiatives

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of residency training with a fellowship in Pain Management (or currently completing an ACGME accredited fellowship)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R, Anesthesiology, or Interventional Radiology
  • Active and unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain licensure)
  • Current BLS or ACLS certification
