Interventional Cardiologist

Responsibilities

• Manage outpatient cardiology clinics, inpatient consults, heart failure, lipid, and hypertension management
• Perform diagnostic LHC/RHC, coronary angiography, FFR, iFR, and IVUS
• Conduct nuclear cardiology studies, TEE, and supervise or interpret stress testing and cardiac MRI
• Perform procedures including cardioversion, diagnostic/PCI cardiac cath, IABP, temporary pacemakers, and peripheral intervention
• Participate in 24/7 call during scheduled block periods
• Collaborate closely with APPs, PCPs, and Hospitalists

Requirements

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
• Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease
• Minimum of 50 PCI's performed in the last 12 months
• Minimum of 150+ diagnostic cardiac catheterizations in the last 24 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pacemaker implants
• Experience with thrombectomy
• Ability to work within an IMLC state
