About the role

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas and market share objectives for the interventional surgery product line
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for key hospitals, surgical centers, and integrated delivery networks
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with surgeons, nurses, hospital administrators, and procurement teams
  • Conduct product demonstrations, in-service training, and educational sessions for clinical staff
  • Identify customer needs and provide solutions through appropriate positioning of BD's product offerings
  • Collaborate with internal marketing, clinical, and customer service teams to maximize business opportunities
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies
  • Manage the sales pipeline effectively, providing accurate forecasts and activity reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or Biomedical Engineering
  • 3-5 years of successful medical device sales experience, preferably in surgical or interventional specialties
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing market share
  • Strong understanding of the surgical environment, operating room procedures, and hospital purchasing processes
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory
