Interpreter

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate simultaneous interpretation between English and Arabic across classroom instruction and practical training sessions
• Translate training curricula, supporting materials, and documentation to ensure fidelity to original intent and terminology
• Provide professional interpretation support during client meetings and stakeholder engagements
• Execute assigned role-play activities within training scenarios to contribute to realistic learning outcomes
• Manage translation of client correspondence, ensuring clarity, consistency, and a professional tone

Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in both Arabic and English
• Proven experience in simultaneous interpretation within technical, professional, or defence/security environments
• Formal qualification in translation, interpretation, linguistics, or a related discipline (Bachelor's degree or equivalent)
• Experience translating technical or instructional content with strong attention to contextual accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to defence, security, law enforcement, or advanced industries terminology
• Professional certification from a recognised interpretation or translation body (e.g., CIOL, ITI)
• Prior experience supporting scenario-based or simulation training in a bilingual environment
• Familiarity with Gulf region operational and cultural context
