Internship - External Risk Assessment

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze macroeconomic, geopolitical, economic, and financial risks for specific countries, markets, and sectors
• Provide inputs for internal publications and risk processes
• Assign country risk ratings in accordance with internal guidelines and methodologies
• Identify emerging risks, key triggers, and potential rating sensitivities in a timely manner
• Support the development and maintenance of internal methodologies, data, and tools for comparative analyses
• Interact with specialists across different areas to drive upgrades to internal frameworks and processes

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Political Economy, Finance, or Econometrics
• Robust understanding of macro-economic, statistical, and econometric methods and concepts
• Proficient in English with strong writing and documentation skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure
• Pro-active learner with high attention to detail and a focus on quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous practical experience with rating models, country risk analysis, or relevant economic research
• Strong digital skills, including data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) or programming languages (e.g., Python, R, VBA)
